Welcome to the Adult Ballet Program at ABA!
Update: Julie Lowe will be back soon! After a year-long absence, Julie joyfully returns to teach ABA’s Adult Evening classes beginning January 2018!
Julie Lowe serves as Artistic Associate and Ballet Master of Menlowe Ballet. She has danced and taught professionally for over 30 years and was a principal dancer with Oakland Ballet for over a decade. Her teaching style provides adult students of all levels, the opportunity to pursue their passion for ballet in a supportive, welcoming atmosphere.
Pilates, yoga, stretching and strength training, injury prevention, nutrition, musicality, dance and art history, choreography, acting, and many other dance forms are all aspects that are incorporated at the appropriate levels into the training of dancers at Alameda Ballet Academy.
We hold adult classes on Tuesday evenings during the summer and fall.
