Julie Lowe is the Artistic Associate Director of Menlowe Ballet. She has danced and taught professionally for over 30 years and was a principal dancer with Oakland Ballet for over a decade. Her teaching provides adult students of all levels the opportunity to pursue their passion for ballet in a way that is safe, fun, supportive and welcoming.


Class Descriptions

Below are descriptions of all of the adult ballet offerings. There are four levels to choose from: Introduction to Ballet, Beginning, Intermediate I & Intermediate II. If you have questions as to what level is the best fit, please email ABA.

NEW! Ballet Body Toning with Julie Lowe: Mondays, 6:45-7:45pm

A unique class designed for adult ballet students, athletes and those who desire to increase flexibility, strength, and body awareness. The class features stretching, toning and strengthening exercises performed on floor mats. Mats are provided but students are welcome to bring their own. Leave class feeling enlivened, deeply connected to your body, and amazingly relaxed!
