Welcome to the Adult Ballet Program at ABA!
Update: After a year-long absence, Julie Lowe has joyfully returned to teach ABA’s Adult Evening classes! She will be teaching on Tuesday and Thursdays in 2018 during these dates:
Week of March 5th: 8-Week Series begins (no classes during the week of April 2nd), last classes of this series on May 1st and May 3rd, 2018.
– no classes during the week of May 7th –
Week of May 14th: 8-Week Series begins
Week of July 9th: 6-Week Series begins
– no classes during the weeks of August 20th, August 27th and September 3rd –
Week of September 10th: 8-Week Series begins
– no classes from November 2nd – December 31st –
Julie Lowe serves as Artistic Associate and Ballet Master of Menlowe Ballet. She has danced and taught professionally for over 30 years and was a principal dancer with Oakland Ballet for over a decade. Her teaching style provides adult students of all levels, the opportunity to pursue their passion for ballet in a supportive, welcoming atmosphere.
Our Tuesday morning Intermediate Ballet workout class and Thursday morning Pilates Mat class with ABA’s founder and Artistic Director Abra Rudisill will resume the week of September 4th, 2018. Happy Summer!
Below are descriptions of all of the adult class levels offered. Please note that the list is not in any particular order in terms of level, so be sure to read through all of our offerings. For those interested in attending class more than once per week, we offer multiple series discounts. Discount combo packages are listed at the very bottom of the list. If you are interested in joining the current class series in session through March 1st, 2018, please email ABA. There is no formal dress code for our adult classes.
